1975, THE NOTES ON A CONDITIONAL FORM 2LP
Matty Healy, the enfant terrible of pop-rock, pushes his band all-in with a long, messy experiment that just so happens to peak with some of their sharpest songs ever. Notes on a Conditional Form is an album that seems to have mushroomed out of all proportion.
Initially intended as a swiftly-released companion piece to its predecessor, 2018's 'A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships'. However the album ended up taking 19 months, in 15 studios, in four countries to complete. It makes Notes on a Conditional Form a curious thing, an album whose flaws are inherent in what it sets out to do: music for the no-filter generation, with all the good and bad that entails.
Notes on a Conditional Form features the singles "People", "Frail State of Mind" and "Me & You Together Song".
